Coventry Youth for Christ has worked across the city since it was established in 1982, with a vision to see every young person in Coventry reached with the Good News of Jesus.
We have a rich heritage of work in schools, through lessons, assemblies, sport, music and much more.
In recent years, our focus has been on equipping local churches to reach and keep young people who have either given up on the church or have never even considered following Jesus as a viable life choice.
Through investment in Youth Cafes, leader training and city-wide events, we have made a significant impact in the lives of thousands of young people, and yet our mission has really only just begun.
With a well-established network of Youth Cafes across the city (open spaces for local young people to meet with each other and engage with Christian adults) we are excited to be redeveloping key relationships in local schools, utilising the gifts of the team to offer practical support, investing in pupils to realise their aspirations and giving them hope for the future.
The dream is that through these relationships, young people will be encouraged to check out their local Youth Cafe, make new friends and ultimately explore a journey of discipleship where they will encounter and be transformed by Jesus.
